You know what they say:  The city truly comes alive after dark!

So witness it for yourself at the 11th edition of Singapore Night Festival, happening from 17 to 25 August at the Bras Basah-Bugis precinct.

It goes without saying that lights are the heart of the Night Festival. But this year, visitors can not only snap some Insta-worthy shots with 16 light installations, but also interact with many of them. Besides the visual treats, the revelry continues with 27 live performances from a diverse array of arts disciplines. Local artists take the spotlight for this boost in creativity, making the festival a great way to celebrate local arts and culture.

With a programme so packed, we’ve picked out seven highlights you won’t want to miss:

In this roving performance, the French outdoor theatre troupe will be leading a set of dream-like characters from the National Museum to SMU’s Campus Green, accompanied by original music. Don’t let the dream pass you by; follow the parade of bright horses for a magical ride!

Where: National Museum of Singapore to SMU’s Campus Green
When: Route 1 (Capitol Singapore): 7.45pm – 8.15pm; Route 2 (NMS – SMU Campus Green): 9.15pm – 9.45pm; Route 3 (SMU Campus Green – Queen Street): 10.30pm – 11.00pm
