Light up your lanterns at these hives buzzing with tours, trails and activities
As the full moon rises for Mid-Autumn Festival, so are the feasting and celebrations around town. If you're looking for a unique place to get your lanterns out and soak in the festivities, here are five places you'll want to check out.

3. Gardens by the Bay
This year, Gardens by the Bay will also be home to a spectacular fusion of the traditional and modern. From 3-18 Sep, Gardens will be a walk-in wonderland of elaborately handcrafted giant lantern that bring to life Asian stories of the Moon.
The venue will also host its own lantern walk with a modern spin: you can light up your lantern using your smartphone. The free “smart lanterns” available at the event will change colours according to where you are in the Gardens.
Collect them on 4 Sep, 6pm, at the following locations: Main entrance near the taxi stand, Supertree Grove lawn, outside Bayfront Plaza MRT station and coach drop-off point at the Golden Garden. The walk will begin at 6.30pm.
