Even after the three-day long Star Wars festival that took place in May, it seems fans just can't get enough of this space opera franchise, probing for the sci-fi extravaganza to make its return.
From 1 to 10 September, the Star Wars: Experience the Force Singapore festival will be held along Orchard Road, where its streets will be abuzz with a flurry of exciting and immersive activities. The street festivities will lead up to an even more epic experience at Singapore Toy, Game & Comic Convention (STGCC), held on the 9 & 10 September at Marina Bay Sands (tickets from $19). Fans will als obe a part of this global fan event, celebrating the merchandise release of the upcoming movie Star Wars: The Last Jedi.
So ready your lightsabers and beam blasters as we bring you five highlights to expect at this upcoming festival.
2. Send the little ones for Jedi classes
If the Star Wars obsession runs in the blood, it’s time to sign your little ones up for the action-packed Padawan Training! Brave, aspiring Padawans, aged between 4 – 12, are invited to train in the ways of the Force and learn how to master a lightsaber under the guidance of a Jedi Master.
Held daily for the length of the 10-day long festival from 3pm-9pm. Padawan Training sessions are on a first come first served basis and may be cancelled in the event of inclement weather.
