5 Highlights To Expect At The Singapore Toy Game and Comic Convention

The two-day event is set to see the gathering of comic book fanatics, colourful cosplayers, hardcore gamers and pop culture purveyors alike

Embrace your inner geek as the Singapore Toy, Game & Comic Convention (STGCC) makes a return for its 10th installment at the Marina Bay Sands!

Happening on 9 and 10 September, the massive convention boasts a flurry of exciting activities and showcases such as an immersive Star Wars exhibition, musical performances by popular Japanese dance groups, a nail-biting eSports tournament and a display of exclusive collectibles that is up for grabs!

Furthermore, a lineup of revered figures from the comic book realm is set to make an appearance, featuring the likes of Disney's top selling artist James C. Mulligan, and Marvel Comics editor and talent scout, C.B. Cebulski.

2. Rub shoulders with big names from the business 

Lauded comic book figures of Disney’s top selling artist James C. Mulligan, and Marvel Comics editor and talent scout, C.B. Cebulski are set to make an appearance at the upcoming convention, where you may get a chance to meet them up-close and personal. Cebulski will also be reviewing portfolios with some budding artists at one-on-one sessions, of which shortlisted candidates may be invited aboard the ranks of Marvel’s esteemed artists. If you have an affinity for adorable toys, renowned Japanese toy designers Hinatique and Yasu will both making their debut presence in Singapore. The former is the creator behind  Ebineko – a half cat and half shrimp character, while the latter is known for Morris – The Cat with Antlers.
