Come 1 Oct (Sat) from 8am to 8pm, the Singapore Heart Foundation (SHF) will be celebrating World Heart Day with a family-friendly carnival at the hard court next to Yishun MRT.

Themed ‘Power Your Life’, the event urges Singaporeans both young and old to make the right lifestyle choices, so as to reduce the risk of CVD.

The event will feature an exciting line-up of activities, demonstrating the effortless ways in which one can make sustainable lifestyle choices at home and at work.

3. Assess your risk of cardiac arrest

Participate in the cardiac risk assessment to find out your risk of heart diseases in the next 10 years.

The detailed screening includes body mass index, blood pressure, waist circumference measurements, blood glucose, cholesterol, smokerlyser and obstructive sleep apnoea tests.
