Food and design aren’t exactly polar opposites, but seeing them come together in harmony is always exciting, be it through stylish food photography or furniture shaped in an organic manner (think: the curves of fruits).
This September, there’s an entire festival dedicated to these two elements. Held from 10 to 11 Sep, the I Eat Design festival organised by Naiise, is a one-of-its-kind event held at Naiise Cathay.
It aims to celebrate the best of our independent local food vendors, by means of exploring creative food-themed installations and offering food-and-craft workshops.
Feasting and workshops
Visitors can expect to meet food vendors such as Boba Brew, IRVINS Salted Egg, Poppy & Co, L’ECLAIR Patisserie and plenty more.
While feasting away, they can also participate in one of the many interactive workshops on site.
For instance, they can try their hand at creating bottles of granola parfait at the DIY Granola Parfait Party Workshop by Eastern Granola and Box Green.
Those who fancy getting acquainted with some edible art, can join the Fondant Painting Workshop by My Sweet Scarlett. If you love a good cup of tea, be sure to go for the Tea Blending Workshop by Whitetree.
