No tickets to NDP this year? No problem! Our city is buzzing with events and activities on the big day, you won’t be bored, even if you decide you stay home and chill. We’d go so far as to say that these ten activities happening on 9 August are more fun than attending the parade:

5. Rediscover the Singapore story through a one-of-a-kind theatrical dining experience

Restaurant reservation platform Eatigo certainly has a flair for the theatrics, as proven by its first theatrical dining experience happening on 8 and 9 August. Held at Sofitel Sentosa’s Kwee Zeen restaurant, the theatrical dining experience of Once Upon A Ginger Chicken takes guests through the timeline of Singapore, kicking off with the first act in the 1930s, before moving on to present day in 2018,  and then concluding in the future of 2147. Locally-inspired delights that complement each act include the deconstructed Ginger Chicken, a choice of Rendang of Beef Short Rib or Curry Crusted Red Snapper Loin, and the dessert of  66% Valrhona Chocolate in different textures respectively.

To book a seat, download the Eatigo app and search for the event page “Eatigo presents: Once Upon a Ginger Chicken” option on Eatigo and enter “SECRETEATS” in the voucher code. Prices are at $65 per head for each session of 8 August (7pm to 9pm) and 9 August (5pm to 7pm).
