No tickets to NDP this year? No problem! Our city is buzzing with events and activities on the big day, you won’t be bored, even if you decide you stay home and chill. We’d go so far as to say that these ten activities happening on 9 August are more fun than attending the parade:

3. Unwind with food and live music at a riverside soiree
We’ve always felt that Publico Ristorante’s gorgeous location at the Quayside would make for a great chill-out party. Thankfully, the Italian restaurant agrees. For National Day, they’ll be hosting a riverside soiree accompanied by a special Singapore-themed menu. Classic Italian fare get a local spin, with a Special Singapore Inspired Pasta featuring fried soft-shell crab. Pair this delectable dish with a shot of Singapore Sling, which will be offered complimentary to each guest! For those more adventurous, try the bar team’s three innovative takes on the Sling with fruity flavours. No party is complete without music, so a live band will be livening up the garden party atmosphere among the beautiful orchid displays on the al fresco terrace, from 1pm to 4pm.
