Wong Fu Fu’s smash-hit collaboration with Crayon Shinchan is here!
This wildly popular, limited-time pop-up dish serves Taiwanese comfort food with a cheeky dose of nostalgia. Expect Insta-worthy bites, playful vibes, and a delicious two-month throwback to your childhood—don’t miss it!
Step into the restaurant and you’re immediately greeted with bold, colourful decor straight out of Shinchan’s animated world. Think collectible Chocobi boxes, wall decals featuring the iconic Action Mask, and even exclusive Shinchan-themed tableware. The ambience captures the essence of light-hearted fun while staying true to Wong Fu Fu’s casual-yet-contemporary Taiwanese dining vibe.
But make no mistake — the show’s true star is the pop-up menu, specially designed to embody Shinchan’s playful spirit while showcasing the restaurant’s signature flavours.
The assorted snacks are served in a limited-edition Chocobi box that fans can bring home—a detail they will appreciate.

The mains are equally creative. The Japanese Seafood Curry Rice (S$23.90++) is a delightful dish featuring fluffy rice shaped like Shinchan’s butt (yes, really), golden-fried karaage seafood, cheesy stars, and crisp garden salad. The Chicken Katsu Burger ($19.90++), meanwhile, is a satisfying bite: crispy, golden cutlet layered with cheddar cheese, tomato, lettuce, and creamy mayo, tucked into a buttery brioche bun. It comes with tater tots and salad — another adorable Chocobi box.

The Signature Mini Bowls (S$20.90++) offer the best of everything for indecisive foodies. Expect a trio of tasting portions: scallion braised beef noodles (served dry), torched smoked duck with Taiwan-style pearl fried rice and ramen egg, plus two golden mid wings — a perfect sampler that balances hearty and savoury with just the right amount of flair.
The drinks menu is just as creative, with all beverages served in irresistibly kawaii Shinchan mugs, adding a playful touch to every sip. Highlights include the Iced Matcha Latte (S$9.90++), Iced Strawberry Matcha Latte (S$10.90++), and Iced Chocolate (S$9.90++), all made with premium matcha from Japanese cult favourite Niko Neko. The flavors are rich and authentic without being overly sweet. Our top pick is the Iced Strawberry Matcha Latte—the strawberry adds a sweet fragrance that perfectly balances the matcha’s natural bitterness for a harmonious taste.

However, the showstopper desserts are grabbing headlines — and phones. The Piak! Piak! Shinchan Butt Parfait (S$12.90++) is as audacious as its name suggests — layers of banana pudding, sponge cake, cornflakes, fresh strawberries and whipped cream, all shaped into the unmistakable silhouette of Shinchan’s butt. Equal parts funny and flavourful, it’s a must-order for fans of the character and lovers of quirky desserts. If you prefer something simpler, the House-made Banana Pudding (S$6.90++) offers a comforting finish to your meal, creamy and nostalgic.
Wong Fu Fu’s Crayon Shinchan Pop-up is more than just a novelty. It’s a joyful collision of childhood nostalgia, culinary creativity, and bold branding — a reminder that food can (and should) be fun. So gather your friends, charge your phones, and get ready to laugh, sip, and feast through this unforgettable dining experience before it disappears in August.
