2. Kakushin

A new Japanese Omakase restaurant, Kakushin, has recently opened in the heart of Orchard Road. Kakushin, which means ‘innovation’ in Japanese. It is anchored by an Omakase concept to illuminate the best seasonal produce from Japan with imaginative storytelling and inspired exploration.

Helmed by Chef Chan, who brings with him decades of experience from acclaimed Japanese restaurants including Tatsu Sushi at Chijmes and Akashi. Kakushin is a reflection of his unbridled creativity. Featuring only the best and freshest seasonal ingredients that are carefully handpicked and flown directly from well-known markets. Such as the Toyosu Market, to produce from the most elusive speciality farms in Japan. All in all, the Kakushin experience is a breathtaking culinary ode to the land of the rising sun.

Prices start from S$228 for Lunch Omakase (7-course) and S$328 for Dinner Omakase (8-course). An ala-carte menu is also available for lunch and dinner.

Kakushin is located at 6 Scotts Road, #02-03 Scotts Square, 228209.
