He’ll be cooking up a storm this Mother’s Day week, and sharing five of his late mother’s favourite recipes at Town Restaurant as part of the restaurant’s Mother’s Day buffet specials. To mark the occasion, The Fullerton Hotels Singapore will also donate a portion of proceeds from the buffet dinner to The Straits Times Pocket Money Fund. As Li Nanxing is of Peranakan descent, you can expect familiar dishes that showcase the culinary heritage of both Teochew and Peranakan communities, including Sotong Masak Hitam, Fried Tau Kwa with Leeks, Assam Fish, Sambal Petai Prawn and White Fungus Dessert.
On Mother’s Day itself, bring Mum down to catch Ah Ge in action as he whips up one of his signature dishes. For the night, mothers present will also be gifted a set of IZU skincare beauty products worth S$110 and a class pass worth S$30 for classes at Freedom Yoga.
