Tanjong Pagar Food Centre's foodie treasures lay tucked away on level 2
The Weekender team took our lunch break all the way down to Tanjong Pagar this week for #HawkerTreasures. Popular amongst the working crowd in the area and the residents alike, we ventured to find the 7 dishes that you should try when you pop by here for lunch.
5. Fresh Chicken Drumstick Curry ($5.80), Kueh Ho Jiak
For those familiar with Kueh Ho Jiak, you may know them best for their colourful Ang Ku Kuehs ($2.40 for 2). They’ve also branched out into serving warm meals such as authentic Peranakan chicken curry, which came with a medley of steamed veggies and nonya chap chye. The chicken was tender and melded well with the creamy curry sauce, a definite must-try!
