Cuddle Up To Care Bears At Their First Pop-Up Cafe In Singapore

Gear up for a whole lot of star-shooting, rainbow-beaming tummies

It is now evident that Japanese-French cafe Kumoya has unofficially become the F&B birthplace of all your favourite cartoon characters. Twice last year, the Jalan Klapa cafe was transformed into a cloud palace for Sanrio character Cinnamoroll, before making way for another dear Sanrio icon - the adorable bunny Miffy.

This time around, the cafe is heading West and straight to Care-a-lot, the home of American television cartoon characters Care Bears!

With Shirley Wong of Little Miss Bento taking the helm of the food styling once more, Kumoya will be bedecked with cheery colours of these fuzzy creatures, complete with cute decor that is a reflection of their tummy powers.

And it also goes without saying that the food and drinks are all Care Bear-themed, specifically embodying each bear such as Best Friend Bear, Grumpy Bear and Love-a-lot Bear - the only bear you can purchase the plushie with every order of the Love-a-lot Seafood Chowder.

While the halal-certified pop-up cafe is only slated to open on 1 February until 31 March 2018, here's a sneak peek of its adorable food and drinks:
