The latest addition to Nederburg’s Heritage Heroes is made entirely from Gewürztraminer, an aromatic wine grape from the Stellenbosch region of South Africa
Nederburg Wines is an award-winning South African wine producer, famous for having mastered wine for over two centuries in Paarl, in the Western Cape province of South Africa.
It carries an array of incredible gourmet wines that are affordably priced and available exclusively through specialty wine shops and restaurants.
Nederburg has a series of wines known as the Heritage Heroes, in which each individual wine is named in commemoration of major figures in South African winemaking.
The Beautiful Lady
The Beautiful Lady is the latest addition to Nederburg’s Heritage Heroes. Made entirely from Gewürztraminer, an aromatic wine grape, The Beautiful Lady was furnished with the grapes of one single vineyard block on the Groenhof farm in the Stellenbosch region of South Africa.
This latest addition to the Heritage Heroes collection makes an excellent aperitif, or complements fruity curries.
It also goes well with desserts and fruit flans.
The Beautiful Lady joins the rest of the collection to complete the gourmet selection.

The Brew Master – Bordeaux-style blend (2009)
The Brew Master is a Bordeaux-styled blend that commemorates Johann Graue, a brew master. He revolutionised wine-making techniques.
The Anchorman – Chenin Blanc (2011)
The Anchorman was named to honour Nederburg’s founder, Philippus Wolvaart, whose first plant was a Chenin Blanc. Since then, Nederburg has retained the craft and excellence of Wolvaart.
The Young Airhawk – Sauvignon Blanc (2012)
The Young Airhawk is a tribute to the son of Johann Graue, or the “Brew Master”. Like his father, Arnold played an integral role in raising the standards of South African wine.
The Motorcycle Marvel – Rhône-style blend (2009)
The Motorcycle Marvel is named in honour of the legendary winemaker Günter Brözel, a cellar master at Nederburg. He played an integral role in building the winery’s reputation as the most-awarded winery in South Africa.
