Chez Vous’s new semi-permanent hair therapy will transform your damaged and fizzy hair

It’s been exactly a week since I sat in Chez Vous’ salon to try out their new Hair Botox + Fillers Programme and it says a lot that my hair is currently as silky smooth and manageable as that fateful day.
After all, my shoulder-length mane has seen nearly every colour in the rainbow’s spectrum, flamingo pink including.
What’s a girl to do when she loves colourful hair? Pamper her locks with plenty of treatments, of course — keratin, anti-frizz, density boosting and more.
Yet despite my best attempts, my Little Pony-worthy mane was looking a little dull and frizzy.
Strengthen and moisturise
As such, a semi-permanent treatment programme appealed to me.
Chez Vous’ Hair Botox + Fillers Programme claims to be a deeply conditioning, smoothing and reparative semi-permanent in-salon treatment programme that restores unruly, frizzy and damaged hair by transforming it into smooth and healthy-looking hair for up to than 90 days with use of home care products.
To start, my hair was cleansed with a purifying shampoo.
Then, a trio of potent actives was applied — a thermal-activated Smooth-Control Concentrate to combat frizz and tame unruly hair; Stabilized Keratin to repair damage and resist humidity; and a Pro-Satin Silk Protein to promote smoothness and shine.
After strengthening my hair, a deeply nourishing Hair Booster with emollients such as Amino-Oil Complex was used, to moisturise and repair.
The next step left me a little wary. A flat-iron was smoothed over my hair, much like a hair rebonding session. Turns out, heat was simply used to activate the Smooth-Control Concentrate and seal in the actives for manageability, smoothness and lasting shine.
My hair felt a little stiff after, but not for long. A Hyaluronic Acid and Ceramide-rich Injection Masque was then applied to deeply hydrate my hair.
Sealing in the goodness
The final step? A high-performance finishing serum containing Hydrolysed Silk to seal in all the goodness and provide maximum heat protection.
The verdict: I was impressed how healthy and bouncy my hair felt — as if it’d never been bleached in its lifetime.
I was later sent home with a set of colour protection hair products as well as Chez Vous’ Trilogy Bespoke Boosters (BB). The latter is a customised, intensive 30-day hair-recovery home-use programme to help prolong the effects of the treatment.
So far, my hair’s been soft and smooth like a baby’s mane. Check back with me again at the end of 90 days!
