October turns pink once again.
This Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the Pink Ribbon Walk 2026 is bringing Singapore’s community together for an evening of movement, friendship and support — with survivors, families, friends and supporters coming together to walk for a cause that touches so many lives.
Organised by the Breast Cancer Foundation, the annual event returns on Saturday, 24 October 2026, at Punggol Digital District. More than simply completing a 3KM or 5KM route, the walk is a chance to show support, raise awareness about breast health and encourage conversations around the importance of early detection.
A Pink Evening by the Waterfront
The physical walk kicks off at 4pm, with participants able to choose between 3KM and 5KM routes.
Set against Punggol’s waterfront and surrounding green spaces, this year’s location gives the walk a refreshing outdoor feel, with views towards the Coney Island area along the way.
And there’s absolutely no need to worry about your walking speed. This isn’t a race — it’s a community walk designed for people to take their time, enjoy the route and spend the afternoon with family and friends.
So put on your favourite shade of pink, slip into a comfortable pair of walking shoes and get ready for a meaningful evening outdoors.
More Than Just a Walk
There’s plenty happening before and after the walk too.
From 10am to 9pm, the Bosom Buddies Roadshow at Punggol Digital District Nexus will bring together activities and games suitable for families, while the Pink Warriors community will host a bazaar for visitors to explore.
As the day continues, expect live performances, interactive activities, photo opportunities, giveaways and the return of the Best Dressed competition.
So yes, you can absolutely have some fun with the pink theme. Whether you’re planning matching outfits with your friends, going all out with a statement accessory or simply wearing your favourite pink, this is one occasion where more pink is definitely more fun.
Prefer to Walk at Your Own Pace?
If you can’t make it to Punggol on 24 October, you can still get involved throughout the month with the Pink Ribbon Virtual Walk.
From 1 to 31 October 2026, participants are challenged to clock 42.195KM, the distance of a full marathon collectively. The catch? You don’t have to complete it all at once.
Instead, you can spread your distance across the month and build it into your everyday routine — whether that means a morning walk before work, an evening stroll around the neighbourhood or a longer weekend walk with the family.
Participants can track their progress through Strava after linking it to the event platform, and can also use their event profile to raise funds in support of the Breast Cancer Foundation’s programmes and services.
A Simple Way to Show Your Support
Breast Cancer Awareness Month is a reminder of the importance of breast health, early detection and supporting those whose lives have been affected by breast cancer.
For some, the Pink Ribbon Walk may be a personal journey. For others, it could be a walk for a friend, a family member, a loved one or simply a way to stand alongside the wider breast cancer community.
Either way, there’s something special about walking together. You don’t have to be a serious runner or fitness enthusiast — just showing up, putting one foot in front of the other and being part of the community can make the experience meaningful.
And perhaps that’s what makes the Pink Ribbon Walk so accessible: you can walk for yourself, walk for someone you love, or simply walk to show that you care.
