Sweet, savoury and spicy new flavours – it’s a McDonald’s kind of balanced meal

While we continue to hope that McDonald’s brings back their Spicy Chicken McNuggets (again), the fast food restaurant is feeding our spicy cravings by taking an existing favourite to the next level.
If you’re a fan of the McSpicy but always feel that it’s not spicy enough, put your spice tolerance to the test with the new McSpicy Deluxe, available at all McDonald’s outlets islandwide from today, 27 June. McDonald’s turns the heat of the iconic burger up a notch.
On top of your favourite McSpicy patty are gooey white cheddar cheese, tomatoes and greens, and then the kicker – a generous layer of tomato jalapeno relish. There are actual bits of jalapeno to really send flames up the roof of your mouth! All these are sandwiched between two slices of soft cornmeal-dusted buns, rather than the traditional sesame bun.
The McSpicy Deluxe is available at $5.90 a-la-carte or in an Extra Value Meal from $8.
McDonald’s is introducing an upgrade to another classic today, this time a popular item from the breakfast menu. Go big to start your mornings with the new McMuffin Stack! Stuffed with two sausage patties (doubled from the standard Sausage McMuffin), crispy chicken bacon strips, a sunny-side up egg and melted cheddar cheese, this ambitious burger is sure to keep you filled for a good day at work or school.
Get the McMuffin Stack at $5.30 a-la-carte, or in a Breakfast Extra Value Meal from $6.50.
And what about dessert? Also available today, McDonald’s new line-up of Bandung desserts looks almost too pretty to eat. The popular rosy pink thirst-quencher is the inspiration for five different ice-cream offerings – the Bandung Soft Serve Cone ($1), Twist Cone ($1) and ChocoCone ($1.20), Strawberry Sundae ($2) and McFlurry ($3).
If cake is more your kind of dessert, great news – the Kueh Salat Cake makes its return today! McDonald’s has surprised us recently by bringing back a few old favourites to the menu, such as the Sweet Chilli Fish Burger and our all-time love, the McGriddles. We’re excited to welcome back this decadent layered combination of pandan mousse, sponge cake, sticky rice and coconut flakes. Enjoy it at $5.20 at all McCafe outlets.
Also making a comeback today is the savoury Creamy Herb Chicken Pie ($1). The flaky pie pocket is filled with a rich creamy mash, chicken, carrots, potatoes, peas and mushrooms.
