You may just meet your dream “Shenton Wayne”
If you shy away from asking your friends to introduce you to their single-and-ready-to-mingle pals, here’s your lucky break. A classy singles-only event is coming to the heart of the Central Business District (CBD).
Titled CBD Mixer, the social gathering on 20 Apr, 7pm-9pm, will bring together a vetted crowd of eligible Singaporean and PR professionals in their 20s to 40s.
The first mixer event will be held at Skyline, a penthouse bar and lounge atop Raffles Place in Singapore Land Tower.
The event will also feature “CBD Mixologists”, or hosts who will help make introductions, start conversations and spark connections.
The organiser, lifestyle agency Vanilla Luxury, explains that participants will be vetted at the organiser’s discretion that, unlike an app, will look past superficial criteria.
Applicants who are successfully invited are encouraged to attend the event solo or with a platonic friend of the opposite sex.
