Recipe: Thai Bananas In Coconut Milk By Asian Food Channel

A classic Thai dessert that is very simple, quick and easy to make, this sweet and creamy dish will be a delight.

Ingredients

Serves 2 people

  • 2 bananas
    Peeled and sliced into thick rounds
  • 180 ml coconut milk
  • 1 Tbsp + 1 tsp white sesame seeds
  • 90 g white sugar
  • 120 ml water
  • ½ tsp salt

Step 2 – Add sliced bananas

  • To the same pot, add sliced bananas and simmer for 10 minutes, until the bananas have turned slightly translucent and most of the liquid has evaporated.
  • Remove the bananas from the pot and spoon into serving bowls.
