Remembering one of Singapore’s oldest public housing estates

Drawn by the call of nostalgia and longing, we took a trip down to the east to say goodbye to sweet old Dakota Crescent, before it closes at the end of the year.
How long ago did a child choose this court – out of the many across the spacious yards here – to start her game? Have the friends she came with since moved away?
I wonder if she ever returned to play.
