Snow Leopard Vodka has been launched in Singapore, to much fanfare
Snow Leopard Vodka has been launched in Singapore by Edrington, who also owns The Macallan whiskies. The vodka not only makes good tipples, it also helps with the conservation of endangered snow leopards.
What better reason to drink?
Philanthropic Partying
It is stated that 15 per cent of all profits of Snow Leopard Vodka goes to leopard conservation efforts. The new vodka in town was launched with volunteer cyclists from the Singapore’s Cat Welfare Society delivering the first 15 cases to bars around the city.
At the launch, founder Stephen Sparrow, gave an introduction to the efforts to save the snow leopards and the history of Snow Leopard Vodka.
The vodka is made with artisan-drawn water and six times distilled in Poland. It is a country that has dominated the production of vodka for over 600 years before being twice-filtered over charcoal to produce an exceptional taste and a super-smooth clean finish.
Bespoke Libations
Guests were treated to bespoke Snow Leopard Vodka cocktails such as the Bagheera (named after the black panther in The Jungle Book), a refreshing mix of ginger ale, vanilla, basil, lemon and pastis.
The Tibetan Sour featured sour plum, lemon juice, bitters and egg whites for a creamier cocktail.
Snow Leopard Vodka is now available at select bars & premium retailers at RRP $118 per bottle.
