Spotless rooms, comfy beds, a whole range of amenities and 24/7 room service – hotels all serve the purpose of providing a clean and comfortable place for the jet-lagged traveller to recover in, bolstered by world-class hospitality that makes the stay one for the memories. In fact, some of these accommodations are lauded for its luxurious lodgings, coupled with state-of-the-art facilities and pampering treatments that give dwellers almost no reason to leave the premises at all.

While Park Regis Singapore mirrors the same aforementioned offerings of comfort and solace in its abode (we’re talking a beautiful building filled with 202 concept rooms, featuring splashes of warm and rustic tone to reminisce a tropical Australia), the hotel is one of the few that urges you to get out more.

We, of course, are putting it less delicately.

During our two-day stay at Park Regis Singapore, most of the time was spent beyond the hotel’s terrains to explore Singapore’s neighbourhoods on foot, or on wheels. We only managed to sneak a dip into its beautiful pool, fitted with a dramatic waterfall feature, on the last day.

Our outdoor adventures come with Park Regis Singapore’s new Stay Well Package, featuring a #sginsiders trail –  a guided trek for guests to explore the colourful neighbourhood within the vicinity. The illustrious trail covers a lot of ground, kicking off at the hotel before traipsing across prominent areas such as Hong Lim Park, Central Fire Station Gallery and Singapore River, before concluding at Fort Canning Hill. On the hill, we revelled in the rich culture and history behind some of the exhibits such as Maritime Corner, Fort Canning Lighthouse and two ancient 9-pound cannons, peering out of lush foliage ever so combat-ready.

Held every Saturday at 745am, the treks last up to three hours until 1oam. Part of the Stay Well package includes complimentary use of bicycles and e-scooters, and buffet breakfast.

The Stay Well Package is at $198 for two, available until 31 July 2018.
