Pop-up restaurants are few and far between, but when they do happen, they tend to be massively popular. Combine the charm of novelty with the limited-time-only lure that sparks our kiasu hearts, and you'll get the recipe for an unforgettable dining experience.

We've recently gotten a taste of pop-up concepts like the Pokemon Cafe and theatrical dining company Andsoforth's projects, but we're craving for more. Here are seven of the most fascinating pop-up restaurants we want to see in Singapore.

3. Blobfish Cafe

The blobfish shot to ‘fame’ after it was voted the World’s Ugliest Animal in 2013, and London has decided to honour this by setting up a cafe themed around all things blobfish.

To be set up this year, Blobfish Cafe seems to be a restaurant-slash-aquarium where visitors can meet the cafe’s three resident blobfish, named Lorcan, Barry and Lady Swift. Thankfully, it doesn’t seem like the cafe will be serving blobfish as a dish.

If done in Singapore: Throw bubble tea into the menu and call it “Blobble Tea”.
