1. Take a walk in Foguang Shan

The city is better known for its port, manufacturing industries, night markets and budding art scene, but it also attracts tourists on a spiritual quest. This is because it’s home to the second largest Buddhist complex in the world, and also the tallest sitting Buddha statue in the world at 108 metres.  Even if you are not a Buddhist, Foguangshan is still worth a visit for its tranquillity. There’s a meditation centre where one can take classes.
