First, Uber stepped into the food delivery game by sending your meals and tipples to you.

Now, Uber wants to be your tour guide on your travels.

Travellers visiting Thailand’s Phuket and Indonesia’s Bali can now boot up the app – but not just to call for a ride. In Phuket, visitors can book an UberTour to be driven to popular landmarks on the island.

For 1,500 baht ($60.88), the package covers a four to five hour-long scenic drive (including pick up and drop off), which will stop at places like Karon/Kata Viewpoint, Phromthep Cape, Big Buddha Temple and Chalong Temple. Free bottled water will be provided for up to four riders.

UberTour is available between 7am and 3pm, and can be requested by clicking on the camera icon in the app. After the tour is complete, the driver will drop you off at the same location you got picked up. (Pro tip: Book an UberTour at about 2pm to 3pm to catch the sunset.)

Another unique Uber service, UberMoto, is available in Bangkok, where users can book a ride on a motorcycle for short trips.

In Bali, UberTrip allows travellers to book a ride for five to ten hours, regardless of the distance and number of stops.

On the latest app, simply set your first destination, select UberTrip, set your pickup location and request your ride.
At the end of your trip, a total fare based on the trip duration is calculated. A minimum of five hours will cost 300,000 rupiah (about $31.70), and 1,000 rupiah for every minute after.

Meanwhile, users in Jakarta can use the UberMotor function to call for a motorbike ride for short distances.
