Even if you're stuck in economy for over 12 hours, time can pass quickly and fuss-free if you plan ahead. Do some homework on the in-flight amenities, and pack a few handy essentials such as the following, to help you survive your long-haul flight.

4. Get up and move around

Sitting in a small, tight space for so many hours can really be a strain on your body. If you got an aisle seat, great! Stand up every one or two hours and walk to a more spacious area (like around the exit row or the snacks cupboard) to stretch your legs. Not sitting by the aisle to get up often? There are many simple arm, neck, knee and leg exercises you can do from your seat, too!
