This week, we present to you scenes of the historic city of Berlin in Germany

A city rich in history, and most famous for the Berlin Wall which divided East and West Germany during the Communist era, Berlin has a number of different interesting facets to its character.

The Brandenburger Tor or Brandenburg Gate. A famous landmark in Berlin, it was originally part of a wall surrounding Berlin and was the main entrance to the city. It is the only gate that remains of this former city wall.
