A five-hour drive away from Adelaide, the ancient Flinders Ranges are not to be missed by nature-lovers and fitness enthusiasts. Various trails are available for people of all fitness levels to walk the magnificent 430km-long mountain range. Get a good workout as you take in the deep red soil beneath you, the canyons above you, and the wildlife all around you. The Ranges are also a great way to learn about the area’s indigenous Adnyamathanha people, by visiting historic Aboriginal sites.
