2. Stay at a Guinness World Record luxury resort

Where Dubai has its emblematic Palm Islands, Malaysia has the Lexis Hibiscus Port Dickson. This immense luxury resort – which features villas arranged in the shape of the titular national flower of Malaysia – is the Guinness World Record-holder for the most swimming pools and the most overwater villas in a resort.

Located on Pasir Panjang Beach in Port Dickson, the Lexis Hibiscus is a haven for outdoor and watersports enthusiasts. For the hungry, head down the beachside Hibiscus Walk for an array of Malaysian cuisine.
