7. A bar made of ice

It’s cold in here – literally. Norwegian Cruise Line’s Breakaway, Getaway and Epic house the Svedka/Inniskillin ice bar; an Arctic watering hole made entirely of ice, furnishings and sculptures included. The ice is illuminated by coloured lights, so you almost feel like you’re basking in the Aurora Borealis.

If you’re not a polar bear and can’t imagine sticking it out here, don’t worry: The bars provide a rack of hooded coats and gloves. Of course, you’ll have your tipple or poison to warm you right up too.
