3. Milan to Venice boutique cruise, Italy

This luxurious river cruise is the stuff of dreams. Without moving much muscle, you get to cover all the bases of Italy; from Milan, home to Leonardo Da Vinci’s “The Last Supper”, to legendary and romantic Venice, the Queen of the Adriatic.

But you don’t just stick to the typical sights, as this 10-day odyssey also covers three outer-lying Venetian islands – Burano, Mazzorbo and Torcello – an evening lighting ceremony at St Mark’s Basilica and a yummy lunch with wine pairings at a historic wine estate in Valpolicella.

While you’re living the life, pick up invaluable skills for capturing your picture-perfect holiday too. This itinerary is offering a Floating Photography Workshop on its sailing departing from Venice on 18 Jun, led by travel photographer, Mark Edward Harris (Conde Nast Traveler and Vanity Fair).

Participants will have photo assignments for each day of the cruise too. Those who book selected itineraries by 30 Apr can enjoy complimentary stateroom upgrades.
