2. Baozi (Chinese Bread Buns)
Prepared in a similar manner to jiaozi (dumplings), baozi are steamed dough buns filled with juicy barbecued meat and vegetables. They tend to consist of thicker dough as well as a larger amount of fillings. Depending on your appetite, pick between the dabao (big bun), which are commonly sold by street vendors, and the petite xiaobao (small bun).
