Just what are Jeepneys? Your first guess is probably right – a jeep introduced by the Americans when Philippines was colonised in the past. The Jeepney has become an integral part of the Philippines culture with its bright and colourful appearance. For first time passengers, do note that only cash payment (usually in coins) is allowed!
