Like in his other movies, Bruce Willis’ character never seems to be able to die

The high-octane sleeper hit, Red, returns with a bigger bang

Action-comedy sequel Red 2 follows retired CIA black ops agent Frank Moses (reprised by Bruce Willis) as he reunites his unlikely team of elite operatives for a global quest to track down a missing, next-generation lethal device that could change the balance of world power.

The Path to Success

The team needs to survive an army of relentless assassins, ruthless terrorists and power-crazed government officials, all eager to get their hands on the technologically-advanced super weapon.

This mission takes Frank and his motley crew to Paris, London and Moscow. Outgunned and outmanned, they only have their wits, old-school skills and one another, as they try to save the world and not die in the process.

Killer Instincts

Frank has happily settled down with Sarah Ross (Mary-Louise Parker) but Sarah gets worried about things getting stale between them as he hasn’t killed anyone in months and she comes up with a plan to mix things up a little so that their lives will be filled with adventure, romance and danger — things they can experience together as a couple.

“Frank is ill-equipped to handle a basic relationship and Marvin is only too happy to dispense advice on how to make a relationship work; yet there’s a good chance Marvin knows nothing about the subject,” says Willis of his character.

His old partner, Marvin Boggs (John Malkovich), and the couple get dragged into a whirlwind as a next-generation weapon — Nightshade — from the Cold War that went missing on Frank and Marvin’s watch has apparently resurfaced.

MI6 has given Frank and Marvin’s buddy, deadly sharpshooter Victoria (Helen Mirren) a contract to eliminate the duo. In addition, a corrupt US official is sending another contract killer, Han (Lee Byung- Hun), after them. This is music to Han’s ears, since he has an old score to settle with Frank.

Along the way, they encounter Frank’s old flame Katja (Catherine Zeta-Jones) and try to save themselves and the world.
