Buckle up, because Hasbro has collaborated with Blizzard International to create three exclusive Overwatch-themed versions of the NERF Rival Blaster! Designed in the style of three characters’ signature accessories, the blasters also make use of trigger locks, spring-loaded mechanisms and ready-indicators to prevent accidental firing.

Walk among the shadows with the Overwatch Reaper (Wight Edition) Collector Pack (S$239.99). Consisting of 2 Nerf Rival Blasters, 1 replica Reaper Face Mask with an adjustable strap and 16 Overwatch Nerf Rival Rounds; shoot out rounds at a velocity of 27 meters per second!

To load up your blaster, pull back the handle, load up your rounds (up to 8 rounds per blaster), push the handle forward, and you’re ready to go! Unfortunately, you’ll have to repeat the pulling/pushing motion of the handle each time you want to shoot – which makes for possible jamming of the gun – so do be careful!

Play to win with the Overwatch D.Va Nerf Rival Blaster (S$59.99), which comes in a lovely pastel shade that replicates the South Korean character’s signature weapon – even having the little bunny charm dangling from it!

With 3 Nerf Rival Rounds, and recoil action on trigger pull, we felt like we were on fire indeed as we shot out rounds! This blaster was smoother than the Reaper blaster, and lighter in our hands – although still only able to fires them 1 at a time.

Justice ain’t gonna dispense itself – so get that business finished up with the Overwatch McCree Nerf Rival Blaster with Die Cast Badge (S$89.99). Featuring a cool spinning spur, a swing-open barrel, a hammer that moves when the trigger is pulled, a spring-action mechanism, and a trigger lock mechanism, plus a collectable die-cast badge; we were all ready to saddle up and ride off into the sunset!

Loading up this blaster took a little more patience than the other two – do read the instruction manual carefully! – but was pretty cool as the blaster closely resembled a revolver. Be sure to load up more than 1 round at a time, or you’ll find yourself playing Russian Roulette when firing!

Overall, we enjoyed playing with the blasters – and we’re sure that you would too if you’re an Overwatch fan! As Tracer would say, this is no time for standing around, what are you waiting for?

The Nerf x Overwatch Collection is available from Toys ‘R Us.
