It was exactly what the doctor ordered for my work-weary soul — a preview of an indulgent spa retreat, right smack in the middle of the week.

In a first-ever collaboration starting 13 Mar, Four Seasons Spa would be transformed into a calming Provencal retreat reminiscent of the idyllic south of France, in partnership with L’Occitane.

As I made my way through the lavender-lined walkway, my worries eased away with the aroma of the fragrance oils.

The Harmonie Divine Facial is a signature 90-min treatment to regenerate, firm and add radiance to tired skin.

Anti-ageing goodness

I was to try the Harmonie Divine Facial ($299), a signature 90-min treatment that would regenerate, firm and add radiance to my tired skin.

Suitable for most skin types, the treatment brims with power anti-ageing benefits thanks to the its key ingredient — the immortelle flower.

Those familiar with L’Occitane’s range of skincare, would know that the immortelle flower is a flower that never fades, even when picked.

Plus, its medicinal properties known in Mediterranean traditions include anti-bruising, anti-inflammatory and healing.

My session started off with cleansing, followed by a moisturizing mask. Afterwards, a steamer was held above my face before gentle extraction, to clear my skin of impurities.

The highlight of the treatment was when the skilled therapist massaged my skin with the Harmonie Divine facial cream.

Heavenly scent aside, it left my skin feeling soft to the touch.

As an oily T-zone was a key concern of mine, this was followed by a rebalancing clay mask and a herbal mask, which would help control active sebum.

Throughout the facial, the therapist would massage my arms and shoulders for an additional touch of indulgence.

At the end of it all, my skin was glowing. And the knots in my body? Thoroughly eased.

For those with more time to spare, the One-Day Wellness Package is a truly wonderful treat.

Full-day treat

For those with more time to spare, the One-Day Wellness Package (from $199) is a truly wonderful treat. Available from 13 Mar to 31 June, the package combines L’Occitane’s spa and cuisine for a full day of pampering.

Start the day with a facial or massage of your choice before dining on a three-course Provencal lunch with exclusive dishes from a menu crafted by Chef Jerome.

The most interesting part? The dishes, like the spa treatments, would feature three key ingredients signature to Provence – immortelle, lavender and almond.

With the rest of the day at your disposal, go ahead and spend the rest of the day relaxing in the sauna and steam room, or taking a swim in the lap pool.

Plus, enjoy complimentary car parking and wifi access — though we’d recommend keeping that phone away!

From 13-19 Mar, One-Ninety Restaurant will also be serving dishes crafted with the above-mentioned L’Occitane ingredients. Menu highlights include roasted rack of lamb with lavender and refreshing lemon cocktail.

For a full-fledged dining experience, opt for a three-course dinner (from $98) with wine-pairing option, all created by Chef Jerome.

With so many options, there’s no reason not to go ahead and indulge all your senses at once!
