Empowering Logistics Service Providers

With the GoGoVan app, drivers and vehicle owners no longer have to depend on inefficient classified ads and traditional call centres to access people who require delivery services.

Drivers can respond in real time, get the job done much faster, and thus increase their earnings.

Any driver with a valid licence and clean driving record is eligible to join the GoGoVan network. GoGoVan also carries out vehicle inspections to ensure quality delivery services.

A Successful Start-up with Proven Track Record

Hailing from Hong Kong, GoGoVan was launched in July 2013 and has bagged several awards, including Hong Kong ICT Award’s Best Mobile App 2014 and Hong Kong Famous Brands.

By August this year, GoGoVan has completed a US$6.5 million Series A funding round. Centurion Private Equity led the round, which also includes a number of prominent Singapore-based businessmen. GoGoVan will use the funds to further accelerate growth and broaden its platform offerings.

In its country of origin, GoGoVan provides its customers with access to over 18,000 registered commercial vehicles, making it the frontrunner of commercial fleets there.

The company is currently working with corporate clients including Kerry Logistics, SF Express and DHL and it has processed more than one million transactions with a total value of over $120 million Hong Kong dollars (about $15.5 million), with 300,000 transactions per month in Hong Kong.

In June this year, the GoGoVan app launched its delivery services in Singapore and has added over 2,000 vehicles to its platform within a few weeks.

Steven Lam, co-founder and CEO, said, “In Hong Kong, within nine months of our launch in July 2013, we captured close to 50 per cent of the independent logistics providers. We are confident we will achieve the same result in Singapore.”
