The lot of us haven't so much as laid eyes on the Pokemon Go app icon yet, and already we're inundated with news and weird happenings that occurred thanks to the viral mobile game.

If you don't want to read through all the articles about Pokemon Go but are still somehow curious about what strange things could happen, here are 10 that already have.

Take these incidents as cautionary tales for when Pokemon Go finally launches in Singapore. Whenever that might be.

2. When it leads to weird, random places

One feature you may have heard of is the PokeStop, a hotspot for players to collect eggs and stock up on Pokeballs in the game. PokeStops are usually located at real-life significant points of interest, such as landmarks, prominent buildings and, as we can see, random monuments and statues.

One user detected a PokeStop located at a Chiang Kai Shek memorial, probably in the West where Pokemon Go is already available. Another found one at an ‘evil’ giant clown statue.
