  Alpecin Tuning Shampoo

With the Alpecin Tuning Shampoo ($15.90), men can now look forward to maintaining their dark hair without turning to hair dye.

Unlike dyeing, hair “tuning” is a natural process, according to Alpecin. The dark pigments in the shampoo are said to latch onto the surface of the hair, darkening lighter patches and disrupting the greying process.

As the “tuning effect” is intensified with each wash, consistent use of the product may yield the best results.

Pantene 3 Minute Miracle Conditioner

For someone who bleaches and dyes her hair often, you can probably imagine the state my hair is in.

So I was thrilled to try the Pantene 3 Minute Miracle — could any hair product really promise healthier hair in just three minutes?

Upon applying two squeezes’ worth and drying my hair, I was surprised that my locks were softer, and less coarse and brittle, as compared to how it had been for the past month after I bleached my hair.

Two to three days of continued use revealed shinier, smoother hair. I also noticed fewer strands falling out when I ran a brush through my hair.

After about a week of use, my hair had regained its original soft and silky and surprisingly, my hair colour didn’t fade a bit.

The 3-Minute Miracle definitely has my vote.
