Lemaire will collaborate with Uniqlo to create classic and comfortable pieces for everyday wear.

After leaving Hermès to concentrate on his label in 2014, French designer Christophe Lemaire is now ready for another challenge.

The designer has been named the Artistic Director of the newly established Uniqlo Paris R&D Center and the new Uniqlo U line. The first Uniqlo U collection which was created with Lemaire’s dedicated Paris team will be unveiled in Paris in early July. The line will feature clothing that is comfortable and will match all lifestyles.

This is not the first time Christophe Lemaire has worked together with Uniqlo. In October 2015, he created the Uniqlo and Lemaire collection that was launched in March this year to the delight of customers and fashion industry experts for its blend of style and comfort.
