She said yes! Our heartiest congratulations goes to Victoria's Secret model Miranda Kerr, who announced her engagement to Snapchat CEO Evan Spiegel four days ago.

Apart from the sparkly engagement ring, what piqued our interest the most was the image that accompanied her announcement on Instagram.

The photo, first uploaded to her Snapchat, was captioned with a Bitmoji of herself being overwhelmed with emotions, alongside her zealous fiancé in a proposal stance.

So what exactly are Bitmojis?

It is a free add-on for the iPhone and Android keyboards, where you can personalise your emojis.

According to Gizmodo Australia, Snapchat bought Bitstrips (the brains behind Bitmoji) for a reported USD100 million (about AUD134 million).
