Lusting over celebrity looks

Celebrities look perfect – their eyes, their pout, their perfectly-arched eyebrows. But is there a cheat sheet?

Taylor Swift is the sweetheart of the USA. Yes, she may have dated a little too often in the past few years but she has decided to quieten things down.

Just recently, she launched her newest album to phenomenal response. It is evident that she is still the undisputed queen of hearts.

We may not be able to sing like her but we can try to look like her! Here are some beauty tips to achieve that dreamy Taylor Swift look.

Cetaphil Ultra Light GEL Fluid

Tip from Taylor: I put sunscreen on when I’m in the sun!

What we think: This is good as a base before you put on foundation. Look fabulous while protecting your skin? Yes, please!

This can be used on both the face and the body so it is definitely convenient.

Available at supermarkets and departmental stores.

Klarity Lasertox CC Lotion

What we think: As an alternative to the previous product, I personally like this one more because it isn’t as oily.

This one guarantees tone lightening instantaneously. One of the ingredients is even diamond powder. How about that?

Available at departmental stores.

Maybelline 3-Tone Eyeshadow

What we think: The blue is definitely too daring for my taste. I prefer the neutrals, especially brown and beige.

There is an alternative to smoky eyes where instead of using black as a base, you switch to brown and it becomes a lovely twist.

Available at supermarkets and departmental stores.

L’oreal Revitalift V-Shaper Essence

What we think: I truly believe there is nothing sexier than a defined jawline. Just look at all the celebrities.

It is not hard to notice that they all share a slim, V-shaped face. Xiaxue once famously edited a dozen celebrity faces to show us how different one would look with a slimmer jaw, and I absolutely agree they were better.

Available at supermarkets and departmental stores.
