She may have been born in Britain, but this Singapore Permanent Resident says she is a “true blue Singaporean at heart.”

Aimee Cheng-Bradshaw first caught our attention on “Asia's Next Top Model” and since then, she’s gone on to host “The Dance Floor” and is currently the ambassador for beauty brand Neutrogena.

The model-host recently moved to London, but she’s been keeping close to home thanks to technology.

Here, she shares her favourite tech tips and tricks.

1. Hi Aimee, what’s up?

Hello! I’ve just moved to London and am now a Psychology undergraduate at King’s College London. I’ve met some awesome people and have been having an incredibly good time exploring the city.

2. How has technology changed the way you connect with your friends and family back home?

Ever since I started travelling more, I’ve found that it’s easy to get homesick. Skype really bridges that gap when you’re abroad.

3. You travel quite a bit, what are your favourite gadgets to use on-the-go?

Google Maps is my ultimate saviour. I also use my earphones a lot.

4. How has social media changed your life?

Because of the popularity of AsNTM3, it has really increased my social media presence and placed me on the map in terms of modelling in Asia. I also feel like more doors have opened for me.

5. Any scary incidences to share?

I’ve had to become more cautious of what I post up because once it’s up there, it’ll be there forever. There was one time when this guy started following me after an episode of filming for “The Dance Floor”. He followed me all the way to the bus stop and kept lurking around. I finally ‘escaped’ when some guys from the production team came to save me.
