Marriott Cafe will be offering the Exciting Tastes Of Korea Buffet.

Suffering from post-DOTS (Descendants Of The Sun) withdrawal symptoms? We’ve got just the cure for you.

From now till 31 August, Marriott Cafe will be offering the Exciting Tastes Of Korea Buffet where a sumptuous spread of authentic Korean cuisine awaits you.

????????????????????????????????????

The buffet is specially prepared by guests chefs Choi Dae-hwan and Lee Jae-Bin from JW Marriott Dongdaemun Square Seoul

Seoul-ful cuisine

Specially prepared by guests chefs Choi Dae-hwan and Lee Jae-Bin from JW Marriott Dongdaemun Square Seoul, the buffet will feature hearty stews, bibimbap, savoury kimchi pancakes, fried chicken, desserts and more.

To ensure that diners leave the buffet feeling daebak (Korean term for something that’s awesome), the buffet line-up also includes Marriott Cafe’s usual international delicacies including seafood and roasts.

Bibimbab

Kids and adults alike will likely fancy the classic Bibimbap.

Must-tries

We ate our way through the buffet and couldn’t help but play favourites toward certain dishes.

Highlights include the juicy and tender Beef Bulgolgi that’s been marinated overnight, as well as the succulent and thinly sliced Pork Belly Bossam.

The Kimchi Pancakes, which come in bite-size portions, is especially great for dipping into the richly flavoured Kimchi Stew Dry Pollack Soup.

Kids and adults alike will likely fancy the Korean Style Fried Spicy Chicken and the classic Bibimbap.

For desserts, I highly recommend the Sweet Red Bean Soup, which is comfort food at its best. On the other hand, the traditional Korean pastry Yakgwa proved to be a little too saccharine for my liking, but is certainly worth a try.

Buffet prices start from $59 and $70, for lunch and dinner respectively.
