Shake it with Shakespeare

In commemoration of the 400th anniversary of William Shakespeare’s death, the Singapore Philatelic Museum is launching the “Shaking It With Shakespeare” exhibition from May 14 until Jan 2017.

Besides showcasing international stamps and exotic and everyday objects from Shakespeare’s world, the exhibition will feature a line-up of exciting programmes.

These include Tudor fairs on Jun 5 and 12 where you can meet the characters from Shakespeare’s plays and sample delicious pies, a postbox-painting session on Jun 7 and 14, and an overnight “Midsummer Night’s Camp” on Jun 2 and 9 where you can be immersed in a Tudorian setting, concoct your own magical potions and dine with Shakespeare (well, almost).
