The “Reframing Modernism” exhibition at National Gallery Singapore features famous works, such as Picasso’s “La Chatte Et Le Coq” (1953, far right).

Admire Picasso & Matisse masterpieces

Earlier this year, National Gallery Singapore opened its first international co-curated exhibition, “Reframing Modernism”. Held in partnership with Paris’ Centre Pompidou Art Gallery, the showcase includes works by famous artists such as Pablo Picasso, Henri Matisse and Nguyen Gia Tri.

Head to Gallery 3 to view Picasso’s masterpieces including “La Chatte Et Le Coq” (1953). The exhibition also showcases the largest-known art piece that Nguyen hand-painted on lacquered wood, “The Fairies” (1936), complemented by Matisse’s “Interior in Yellow and Blue” (1946).

“Reframing Modernism” is open until Jul 17.
