The last time American pop sensation Katy Perry performed on our sunny island was in 2015 during her Prismatic World Tour.

And pretty soon, the California girl will make her return to perform at the Singapore Indoor Stadium on 8 April 2018. The show is part of her Witness: The Tour, named after her latest album Witness, which kickstarted on 19 September and will last until 21 August 2018. Other Asian countries the songstress is set to perform at are Tokyo, Hong Kong, Bangkok and Jakarta.

Gleaning from the #witnessthetour hashtags on Instagram, Perry’s tour is set to be a colourful force to reckoned with, featuring elaborate sets, eye-popping props, numerous outfit changes and theatrics stunts, where the songstress was seen wheeled out on a ceiling planet, belting out one of her oldies ‘Thinking Of You’ to the strums of a guitar. She also tiptoed around the rim of a massive basketball hoop, while performing – you guess it – Swish Swish Bish.
