Film aficionados know that there’s a certain romance about open-air cinemas.
To feel the breeze rustle your hair and to see the skies darken to a celestial glow as the plot rises to its climax — what a treat.
Come 2017, a brand new open-air cinema event called Sunset Cinema will be launching in Singapore.
According to its Facebook page, it will be located on Tanjong Beach.
Film-goers can expect tropical beach sunsets, DJ’s, deck chairs, bars, food stalls, fun with friends and of course, an award-winning film programme.
Judging by the popularity of Films At The Fort, a premium open-air cinema concept that’s regularly held at Fort Canning, Sunset Cinema looks set to draw the crowds.
Meanwhile, we’re crossing our fingers that we get to snag some tickets!
