What a rollercoaster ride the last few weeks have been for fans of popular girl group 4Minute. First,  the seven-year-old band – who sang power hits like “Crazy” and the still-fresh chart-topper “Hate” – announced its disbandment after four of its five members terminated their contracts with Cube Entertainment.

Now, singer Hyuna – the only member to renew her contract – is preparing to make her first solo comeback in August – a year after her mini-album “A+”.

According to Sports Donga, the singer is currently collecting tracks as well as recording songs for the album, and is still deciding its concept and title track.

Will she go with her popular “sexy icon” concept, or take her image in a completely new direction? All eyes are on Hyuna, now more than ever.
