Peng plays Joe Lee, the main suspect of the crime, who is captured. The case however remains unsolved, and amidst Lau’s investigations, his family is threatened. Lau now faces an impeachment proceeding that includes Osward Kan (Chow) – an influential senior counsel and member of the judicial council – but it is unknown whether he is friend or foe.
